Theatrical Hair & Makeup - Distinction

This 2 year course gave me the knowledge and experience in theatre and film make-up SFX and wig styling. I have hands-on experience with industry grade products to create, but not limited to, bruises, cuts, and even burns, to self made prosthetics.

I also created wefts from scratch while using real and synthetic hair, ventilated hair for lace front wigs and postiches, and also created gravity-defying hair styles for theatre.

Creative

Sewing & Patterning

I have been self taught in sewing for 6 years (started in 2020) with specialties in plush making and dressmaking. During my plush making time, I had made over 400 soft toys, ranging from small to large makes, from either bought patterns, altered patterns, or self made patterns. Regarding dressmaking, I have been making cosplays since (2022) either altering store bought costumes, or completely made from scratch. I also teach others how to sew with One-to-One Sewing Workshops that I host.

Wig Making

Since gaining my tools and knowledge during college, I was able to transfer this across to my cosplays. I have styled some basic wigs, to create helmet wigs with detachable pony tails. I also have created a wig from scratch from ventilation, to installing wefts to a blank net that's custom to my head.

3D Modelling & Printing

3D printing is one of my newer skills, having only started at the beginning of 2025. Since then, I have printed pre-made files for my cosplays, like staffs and helmets, and also have made my own models, like the goggles for Gemma, which even had a functional hinge. I have been using my 3D prints to help with other crafts, like custom fabric embossing, sand casting, and making texture rollers for foam and clay.

Cricut

I have been using Cricut machines for over 4 years and also host One-to-One Workshops to teach others how to use them. I use my Cricut for a variety of uses for my cosplays, such as custom iron-on patches, cutting out fabrics for props, and making stencils for face paint markings.

Foam

Foam is still a working area for me - I have made a variety of accessories and props with foam, and use it for most of my cosplays. I have used pre-made patterns to make parts of my costumes, like witches and jester hats, and have made my own patterns for more basic props, like hammers. I have used a dremel to sand and create grooves on my foam, and I have also used a heat gun to shape the foam.
